While on a road trip this weekend, I noticed our "MPG History Records" was off by a month. While fueling up, I told her to go ahead and set the correct date. When she used the steering wheel to make the adjustments, we found out it was 2 years and 1 month off. We bought the vehicle used, and apparently it was never set. The only way we found the change the date was by advancing the days; which means we would have to click through 2 years worth. We currently have it set to the right day and month, but its still under 2014. Is there a easier way, or faster way to advance the years? Its not an issue, but I just want to have it show the correct date without clicking the button 700+ times. 2013 Prius-C C2
We have a 2016 with the same problem except I can't find out how/ where to even change the date. Time yes! Date no!
OK, figured out how to change the date on my Prius C (2016), its probably different if your car is different model or year. Using the "Disp" button on the steering wheel, go to "Screen Off and Basic settings". Then choose "Basic settings". On mine it is the first selection and is on the same page as "Change Time". Apparently Date and Time are separate?? Selecting either "Disp" or "Trip" will move the selection up or down. Hopefully this changes the date to something a bit more current for my next tank fill.
