Greetings, I just reconditioned the HV battery in my gen2 prius. Upon reassembly, I ended up with the extra bolt pictured below. It's most similar to the bolts that fasten the HV battery to the vehicle, but It doesn't match any of the other 12mm bolts, so I had no idea where to put it. Anyone know where it goes?
Don't worry about it, it's the one mounting bolt on the driver's side that's closest to the ECU compartment. It may be an identifying bolt for Toyota to see if it's been removed before........But you still shouldn't have an extra one. That would mean a mounting bolt is missing somewhere else.
