15 mins approx. pretty straight forward. Just remember to take all the sticker backing off. Good luck!

I made some for my visors and they work great. I thought about making some to sell but then remembered all the people who like to sue when they can't stay safe from themselves. I pictured someone hitting themselves in the eye with one of these and having an accident, then blaming me so for now I'm good with keeping them to myself.

Recently, I had the use of a brand-new Toyota Camry for nearly three weeks (see threads passim) and one of the things I noticed was the sun-visor-extendy-thingies which I thought was a neat idea, and perhaps might even be fitted standard on the new Prii (mine is a 2009 Gen II) - as I said, a neat idea!! :)

I agree, the in channel gizmos stretch the channel and the windows knock about in a noisy way, I like the way these stop in the front short of the bottom, they don't inhibit the view, nice touch, thanks for the infoJust snagged the last? set from ebay, thanks for the heads up

Mine are the same, but from Amazon. Same description, price and seller.

But there are NO INSTRUCTIONS! They're pretty self-explanatory though.

[UPDATE]: I put them on in ~15 mins.

    My technique:
    1. Roll all the windows down
    2. Find which window each visor goes on
    3. Starting on any window, remove the sticky-pad backing on only the extra piece under each clip and on the large piece along the straight-edge of the visor
    4. Remove ~4 inches of sticky backing from the longest strip, starting on the end with the straight edge. IMPORTANT: Do NOT remove all the backing from the longest strip yet.
    5. Align the straight edge of the visor with the straight edge of the window frame.
    6. Lightly press the adhesive under the clips and the straight edge to hold everything in place
    7. Be sure the straight edge and clips are aligned properly before pressing their tape strips firmly in place.
    8. Now grab the dangling piece of tape strip from the longest piece, and pull down all the way to the pointed end of the visor.
    9. Make sure the pointed end of the visor is aligned with the top of the window frame. (It tends to hang lower because there are no clips on this piece)
    10. With a slightly damp, clean microfiber cloth press all the exposed tape in place to adhere to the window frame.
    11. Repeat for all windows and VOILA!

Ok, I'll ask the dumb question...

    What do they do?

Is it so you can leave your windows cracked an inch, and rain won't get in? When driving, is there any extra wind noise created? (The last thing I need is more noise.)

    Several things:
    1. It lets you leave your windows cracked during the day so that the car stays cooler but rain can't get in
    2. It also shades the interior a little bit from the midday sun keeping it cooler, when parked or driving
    3. You can crack the windows while driving and won't be as much a direct air and noise coming into the car
    4. Because they're shaded and they overhang the top edge of the window if your windows are cracked open it also deters thieves from trying to get into the car

Thanks Jim. What did you do with the clips? Did you keep them and sticck them on using the sticky pad backing on the clips or just discard the clips then stick them on?

I kept the clips on. They're great for aligning the visors and don't do any harm otherwise. They look fine as is.

Question here, how much wind noise does it add to the cabin at highway speed when windows are all the way up? I want to install them but not sure about the noise part...

I installed some "slimline weather shields" (window visors) for my ZVW50 Prius yesterday.

They look very similar to the ones here -- I ordered mine through my Toyota dealer and they are the same as the JDM visors that you can find on eBay.

Very easy fit -- they fit on the door frame, not within the window channel. There are two small metal clips to help locate the visor properly, and the 3M adhesive is easy to apply. Once you've placed the visors in the right position, the instructions specifically ask you to heat the adhesive strips with a hair dryer whilst you press firmly -- the heat must help the adhesive curing process.

I don't have them handy at the moment, but I can scan in the English installation leaflet if anyone wants me to?

I have installed a set of Wellvisors visor on my 2016 Prius two ECO last week.
It is not easy to hear the wind noise on freeway driving even I accidentally left one inch gap on all windows.
Those metal clips may creat an open space if not installed properly.

I don't see any mention of cleaning the surface where the adhesive strip contacts the door frame. I have always used an alcohol pad to clean before attaching the visors and have never had one come loose or fly off. Had them on a '95 Odyssey for about nine years, then put a set on the Mazda5 but it got totaled after about three months, visors still intact. Have had them on the Prius since I bought it, the ones on the Odyssey were the Weather Tech in channel, they stayed on, but I didn't like the way the window struggled as it went against them in the channel.
