I don't know what's worse...that or this sticker I saw last week on a lifted truck that said "I heart sushi" with an image of a man eating a u know what. You can imagine that for yourself.
gross. in my day, the cops would have arrested him. today, anything goes. i guess that's the price of freedom.
In the 1960's, saw plenty that equaled what you are talking about, but never heard of anyone being hassled by "The Man." Of course, I grew up in a beach town in Southern California. Experiences may have been different, in say, a tire town in Ohio...

When I first bought my Prius, I had a daily commute of over 120 miles and gas was hitting $3/gallon so it made sense. I was also working as an environmental engineer in the auto parts industry so it made me look more dedicated to the cause, despite the fact that it was a foreign brand and we only supplied parts to the big 3. This time around I bought a Prius just because it is the only car I ever loved enough to keep. I would rather drive it over my husband's Lexus any day of the week. And now my daily commute is under 10 miles so the whole fuel economy thing didn't even factor in.
I'm male and I've never named my cars. I think the Prius is a roomy car that gets awesome MPG. Nothing sissy there. I really enjoy driving it.
The wife of a colleague of mine saw my Prius and really liked it. When she told him they should get one, he said he'd never get a Prius. She pointed out that it wasn't that much different from the Honda Civic that she has and he sometimes drives. I asked him why he won't get a Prius and he told me he'd never get a Prius, a minivan, or a station wagon. He drives a black Ford F-150 truck. So I'm assuming he considers Prii, minivans, and station wagons too sissy. I would never drive minivan or station either - but that's because I think they're ugly. I've never driven one actually, so I don't know what the ride is like.
weird, mine is called prius too. yup, it's easier to drive a pickup truck than pump some iron. no, those are gay cars. i've heard that after i purchased a subaru wagon. later, it was reiterated by the salesman who sold me the prius.
"Gay" cars? Explain please. I've actually heard that too. (I'm straight, by the way.) In today's society, it's a damn shame that some people add "labels" , or have negative assumptions about others just because they drive a certain kind of car (like a Prius) Or dress a certain way, or live in a certain area, or whatever! It's stupid and silly. A bunch of damn bullies hang out on social media sites, hiding behind their computer or iPhone. I believe all this social media crap is making society worse... Just the 5-cent opinion of an "Old Guy."
there a few lists circulated. this one is fairly recent: Car Stereotypes » Top 10 Gayest Cars this classic is a bit dated: The Ultimate Gay and Lesbian Cars of All Time | Car Talk there is a lot of good humor in those, but a gay person at my work does drive a miata indeed. on the other hand, we have/had subaru, yaris, and prius in my family and we are as straight as they come.
I work for a law-enforcement agency with a lot of macho employees. Of course, there are a number of pickups and SUVs in the parking lot but I've also seen about 4 Prii in addition to mine. I'm not sure who all the owners are but at least two of them are/were owned by guys. There's also a VW Beetle that's owned by a male colleague of mine. There are also a couple of Minis, also owned by guys.
Male here, first Prius at 18 second at 25. Worked as an EMT before and now I drive a pickup truck at work that actually gets used as one. Not my truck but same trailer
I've noticed, in my area, about 95% of the Prius drivers are young women. People must find it odd to see BIG SHREK crawling out of a new 2016.
