I have a winter gray 2015 prius 2 with the wheel covers off, painted black OEM center caps, and black lug nut covers. Today I removed the front and rear emblems to covered up the blue with a black carbon fiber film which was alot easier than I expected. The carbon fiber matches the winter gray paint really well. Now on to the next mod! Which do you think would look better? A winter gray or black shark fin antenna? I never considered modding a car before buying my prius and even after I got it I only planned to remove the wheel covers. Now I cant stop! I think this forum is to blame! You guys give me too many ideas
Are u gonna paint or wrap the roof? If you are then I think black. If not, then WGM. Basically whatever the roof color is.
Going entirely on your pictures. Given the darkness of your tint, and the black accents that already exist, I'm just going to say I think black would look better in that position. It's surrounded by black, the whip antennae is black, I'd go with black. It's however up to you.
What I would suggest is to get it the color of your car and if u would like to see it in black, then plasti dip it and if u decide black doesn't go well the it can easily be removed and no harm no foul iPhone ?
I think a color-matched WGM fin would look clean unless you plan to black out the roof like @RollinBad mentioned. Here's an example of color-matched on @FishCandy car.
