What? ...you DIDN'T get the Flight Option?
I find the ability to Z Axis up 1000 ft. to avoid Freeway congestion a very practical option here in Los Angeles. It's a great time saver and ABC has a desiginated landing area for Helos and Prii! :D
123.9 is Burbank Approach Control. It may be VFR, but you gotta keep in contact!

Actually you should be more worried about the other Freq displayed.....the 435Zoo

Here's my install. Lots of research here on an install in a Prius. I've got an FT-8800 in a Landcruiser and picked one up for my commuter 2013 Prius. Pretty straight forward install. Base unit is installed in the DS cubby in the rear. Power is run over to the battery, both positive and negative fused at the battery. Running the cable for the faceplate and speaker was easy thru the very generous cable runs up the footplates. Faceplate is mounted with a Ram suction cup mount to the little window between the DS door and front windshield. It's been a few weeks and it hasn't come loose once. Very happy so far. Speaker is mounted down in the center console as is the mic. Antenna is a Comet SBB-2 mounted on the hatch with a Diamond K400C mount.
