My 2004 Prius recently divorced our 2001 Jetta and now is having relations with a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek (with all the sexy electronic safety goodies). JeffD
My 2014 Prius 4 sleeps with his much more fun and powerful 2014 Honda CTX1300 lady. She only gets about 45 MPG. Their the same age, but she's been around the block a bit more. But hey, it ain't the year of the car, it's the mileage!
We have a 2016 Prius Four and a 2005 Prius in our two car garage. We get about 50-52 MPG in the 2016 and 38-42 in the 2005. ...And a 2002 Honda Odyssey, which sits in the street. It gets (wait for it)......... 16 MPG!!!! Fantastic , NOT. We only use it for camping, trips, etc.
Main Street Pedicab, Adventurer Electric rear hub motor 7-speed folding bike, Skykomish mountain bike, Dahon classic single speed folding bike.
I hope it's not incestuous, but my 2015 Prius (Sea Glass) shares the garage with my 2011 Prius (Winter Gray)!
My 2016 Prius Four (blue with black interior) shares garage space with a 2005 Honda Odessey used for hauling 5 year old grandkids and the occasional sheet of plywood or drywall (I don't need to say which is a bigger mess).
Mine sleeps alone, outside, away from the house, in the cold, in the dark. It can't wait to see me in the morning.
I like the looks of the fat tire. But how does it ride in the soft stuff (at the beach or on the slopes)?
Amazingly well. I tried to ignore fat bikes for a couple of years but last winter I bought one and the ride in the deep snow was transformative. Lots of MTB trails are in the Mississippi river bottoms and yearly flooding makes for lots of sand that was impassable with a regular MTB but easily done with the fat bike. Our top MTB racer in the upper midwest even uses a fat bike for regular MTB racing. If you are riding on the slopes or where there are melt/freeze cycles studded tires (45 NRTH Dillinger 4 or 5) work the best.
2005 Subaru Outback The only new vehicle we've ever purchased. Just cracked 150,000 miles.....it's a beast!
As of two nights ago, the 2012 Plug-in Prius said goodbye to our 2009 Honda Civic and welcomed in our new 2016 Leaf SV.
ChuggyPig's winter quarters are shared with 5 hanging bikes, several frames, a multitude of bicycle wheels, ChuggyPig's summer wheels, and a few kitty-carriers -
