I just recently purchased a 2008 Toyota Prius with 60,000 miles on it upon driving it home from the dealer I was on a rather rough road as I was driving the speedometer was bouncing along with the dash in the back kind of Where the Hood goes over the speedometer it was rather annoying because the numbers were bouncing as you were trying to look at it not changing speed just vibrating or bouncing I was wondering if anybody can tell me if they have this problem or if I should take it back to the dealer to see if they can tighten something up when I was pushing on the dash everything seems to be tight or is there a fix? Ok after drive a it alot more and watching the dash it is that back of the dash by the speedometer it seem to be more in the middle and makes it look like the the speedometer it bounces on rough road or seem in the road. I took it back they said it is normal all 2004-2009 do it is there a fix it is annoying see your speedometer vibrate/shake/bounce minnesota roads aren't smooth very often. Could I put something in the front defrost vent under the dash to tight it up? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
