I thought this might be fun. We did this in the VW forum I used to be a part of. What vehicle(s) sit next to your Prius? I'll start, we run this 2015 Kia Sorento SX as our family/dog hauler. Currently has 8,500 miles on the clock. Max mpg was a one way jaunt about 75 miles, where we got 29 mpg out of the 290 HP V6. Typical mileage is closer to 20 mpg, so the Prius is a welcome change to that
My Prius garage companion is a 2003 Ford Expedition (medium blue) with 166K miles that averages 13.5 MPG around town. We use it to pull a 32' travel trailer. Driveway dwellers are my sons rides, a 2006 Prius (pine mica) and a 2010 Hyundai Accent (light blue).
White Chevy Tahoe that is my wife's company car. (great dilemma, use her car which gets 16 MPG and gas is paid by the company, or my car with 39 MPG but we pay for gas)
Mine usually stays in a one car garage with a variety of skiis, bicycles, and sea kayaks. Sometimes it spends the night outside with first generation Integra. And when traveling, it often sleeps between dad's three F250s, of various vintages one to three decades old.
It varies depending on the season. Currently the Prius and F150 have been hibernating together in the garage. If I throw the ScanGauge in the F150 and really try to stay gentle on the gas, it can almost get 20 mpg. It's been teasing me with a couple tanks at 19. The only times I get less than 50 from the Prius are when the temperature is below 20F in January.
Most of the time with 2015 Prius v side by side in the garage, sometimes outside..sometimes besides California T
2009 VW Routan Minivan (version of Dodge Caravan with VW badge). Just filled the tank and last time I filled it was 2 months ago.
