Got my wheels and tires mounted today. Looks and feels great going from the 15" to 17" from a defensive driving aspect. Pictures don't really capture the wheels correctly but here ya go. Might have to to a 5mm spacer in the rear.
    Specs again are 17x7.5 +42 17lbs Motegi MR125 wrapped with 215/45-17 Michelin Primacy MXM4's.

For the first time in about 6 months it made it to 70 degrees. Washed my girl, took off the hubs and spray painted some center caps despite my husband's objections. Turns out he really likes the look. That'll do until I eventually need new tires and upgrade the wheels.

Just like what Sean said... Shaving the rear is the way to go.

Ran my car like this today... I was in the middle of swapping my wheels out but had a family emergency. Didn't look that bad

Max drift car look haha. I rolled like that for a bit while one of my fronts had to be repaired.

Thanks Sean. I'm gonna put my stock wheels back on until you can look at it...

I'll take some pics of how my rears look tomorrow for you. I need to shave them since I rub on the freeway lmao. I don't have letters anymore on my rear sidewalls.

Haha damn. I saw this video and don't know how this guy doesn't shit his pants at every bump like that jagged fender isn't gonna slice open his tire. Says he drove 80,000 miles over 4 years with this setup and nothing ever happened. And here I am switching back to stocks after some rub lines show up

Haha Armand is one crazy guy. His current setup is crazier than those works were too. He really pushes it with his setup but he drives that car all the time. He lives super close to my parents so I've hung out with him a couple of times.

It's about time I got around to installing my G-Sport underbody braces.

I got the parts out of the powder coat shop on Thursday.
    upload_2016-4-17_14-37-17.png

These supports replace the two crossbars on the USDM underbody.
    upload_2016-4-17_14-58-13.png

    The forward support:

    upload_2016-4-17_15-5-23.png

    The rear support bar:
    upload_2016-4-17_15-13-7.png upload_2016-4-17_15-13-45.png

Problem -- the USDM splash guards don't fit anymore:
    upload_2016-4-17_15-16-57.png
    These are: 57628-12130 and 57627-47010

I'll probably spend the rest of the day trying to find the part numbers of the G-Sport versions of these guys.

WeatherTech laser cut mats for the front and the cargo area. I have someone in the back seat about once every 3.71824 years so I'm leaving the factory mats back there.

Got the LED headlights installed during the weekend. I'm VERY impressed about the lights! Definitely a project worth every cent!

    Costs:
    LED headlights: 50€
    LED computers: 180€
    Wiring: 2€
    Total: 232€ / 262 USD. Not bad.

Now I still need to get the parking light bulbs replaced, as you can see they look blueish when comparing against the headlight color. Any ideas dear fellows? 13043682_1150862881630691_4264804708212326325_n[1].jpg

Yes, mobile phone sets the white balance incorrectly. But I'm sure you see the blue parking light bulb. Any ideas for that? Preferably street legal ;)
