Does anybody know if the toyota-branded XM Radio kit adds the capability to get traffic information in the nav system?
As far as I know the short answer is no. I will listen to the traffic report for my area on XM but it usually isn't very accurate. Gotta love it when they report my route is "green" and moving along and I'm sitting there doing 2 mph Ken

I've been pleasantly surprised by the results. On my regular commute there are slow spots that are never reported on the radio (XM or terrestrial), but the Garmin flags them. It's not perfect and no system can account for the delay in reporting, but so far I'm pleased.

Otherwise it's a fine time for me to 'up' my mpgs.

Redblue88 I will get my Prius in a few weeks. I also have a Garmin 2730. Where do you put the Garmin. Do you use the "sandbag" stand that comes with the Garmin? In the test drive I wondered where the Garmin 2730 would fit? Thanks
