I received a 15% off coupon from my dealership for Prius accessories so I bought the all weather mats and the bra. Is the bra going to reduce my MPG? I just made it to 50MPG, and being the lead foot that I am that is really good for all the highway driving I do!
My guess is no. It isn't that heavy, and I don't believe it adds much wind resistance, so no. That said, my car is a free spirit and currently operates bra-less.

Between that and the block heater my life time average has been going up all winter rather than down!
I didn't think it would. My husband, the 'gear head', was saying that since it wasn't as smooth that it would cause extra resistance, thus causing a reduction in MPG. Now if it goes from 50MPG to 49.5, then I dont care as much. My girl is going for the sexy look with the black bra!
I've had vinyl bras on all four of my Priuses (see avatar) and they do not affect MPG. While the surface of the bra is not quite as slippery as a well-waxed/sealed finish, it's the aerodynamic shape of the front end that really does the job.
