After owning my Persona for a few years, I really wanted something with more power to enjoy on the weekends. I've owned numerous sports cars before the Prius and didn't realize till recently, how much I missed them... but as I matured I thought I was ready to step away from that and got a Prius. What I didn't expect owning a Prius was how other treat you on the road! Getting cut or aggressively passed regularly and often for no reason. Based on the posting I ready on PC, I know I'm not alone.

A few months ago, I started looking into a weekend car. I went through my wants; sporty, high HP(great than 300) and stirs my soul. After a few months of debating, I found myself starring at the 911S(997 model year). Then the stars aligned and I found one local with very low miles in fabulous condition.

It was great to be on the opposite side by being the passer! I passed someone who didn't want to let me in and was given the finger.. I didn't come even close to cutting them off.. I thought it was very uncalled for but oh well, it's happened to me countless times now. It's an incredible machine to have and enjoy once in a while.

A few spec, 06' 911S, GT Silver Metallic, Adaptive Seats, Bose, Nav and 19" wheels.

I have to buy (or return) my leased 2013 Persona this week... I think the residual of $16830 is probably a fair price with only 22000 miles on it.

I didn't replace the Prius. The 911 is a weekend car.

You are going to have lots of fun with your new car. How much dough did it cost?

Just drove it 2x so far and it's amazing! Incredible performance and gorgeous to look at.

Sorry, didn't answer the price for a reason.. shop around, the prices are pretty obvious once you start looking..

Prius prices,as of late, do not look so good though.. oh well.. I'm not selling mine..

That's an assumption it's high. It's actually the same as my Prius! Hope it stays that way but will be hard with the power on tap.

Just re-checked, premium is actually lower than Prius!

Drove it up to Yountville over the weekend. The more I drive it, the more incredibly it is. After more seat time, it's clear this is more on the sports car spectrum than luxury. Though the interior is gorgeous, it's heart is a sport car. From the suspension, power band, chassis to adaptive seats, it's an incredible sports car. If you're looking for the comfy sports car, this isn't for you.

I've owned several bmw's included M3's, and this 997 model is clearly on another level of performance. I can really appreciate what Porsche has packaged in this 911. From the lineage, aesthetic, quality of craftsmanship and performance, the 911 sets itself apart.

Took the family up to have some fried chicken at Addendum, that's some awesome chicken!

I also ran across this 918 Spyder on the way up to Yountville. Unreal MSRP of $800K+!
