Took Delivery of my 2016 4, Hypersonic Red w/ Harvest Beige Interior

    I took delivery of my new Prius mid-week. I had ordered it because the Red ones are not stocked in the Chicagoland area. I also wanted the Beige interior with the Hypersonic Red. I am very happy with the results. I only waited three weeks from order to pick up. It has the AT package. I have tried everything except the Pedestrian warning (no one has stepped out yet and I am not asking volunteers. The safety features all work as advertised and is worth the upgrade. I had no use for the parking assist and wanted the Moon Roof. I am including some photos. This is my third Prius - 2004 (Traded for this) and a 2007 which is still in use. I have been very happy with all of my cars. The big difference is I like the new look! It stands out among all of the other hybrids out there. It is also a more comfortable ride.

    I am starting to be envious of you guys getting yours so fast. I ordered mine last Monday the sales guy was not even able to tell me when it might be delivered. He said on Thursday the order was not even yet confirmed to be accepted.... :(

    WOW - I love the Beige interior. It doesn't make the white plastic bits so stark.

    Unfortunately, in Australia, only Dark Grey interior is listed as available.

    I have to admit that I did call the dealership on a regular basis. Then they began to send me copy of the transit updates.

    They didn't "offer" the red/beige combination here either unless you also purchased the package with parking assist. My sales people were able to request it without that package regardless. It doesn't hurt to ask.

    That's it.

    I'm going back, and I'm trading my new blizzard white Three model for a RED Four! Beautiful!

    There are 50 million white cars out here! I already feel "bland." (No shortage of red PreEyes for sale here, in California.)

    Are those SofTex seats supportive? Supple? Plump? ;) My cloth seats feel like I'm sitting on a park bench!

    I just finished a 200 mile drive. The seating is more comfortable than my previous prius'. The seating is not plush but is nicely padded. The lumbar support is a welcome addition.

    Hi There, Lovely Car! I am considering the same and wondering if you could help me with one question. Your seems to be all around Softex interior, however, when I configure the car on the website it say "Harvest Beige Fabric Softex". I can't seem to get confirmation from local dealers if its all around softex or it is combination of softex and fabric for the harvest beige color option on 2016 Prius 4. There aren't any to view in my local area. Also, I found picture on the internet which show both with a Softex trimmed fabric and one like yours. Thanks!

    Happy to answer.
    The Prius 4 has the Softex interior and the Prius 3 has the fabric. On the 4 it is all softex. The harvest beige is really a nic cold and it complements the Gray of the rest of the dash. I know when I first tried the build feature on the Toyota site, I could not get the Beige with the Red, unless I order the additional package with the park ing and help button. The dealer then told me that the site is limited in the configurations, depending on region. They could request what I couldn't see. And it worked!

    It is without reservation a great looking combination.

    Do you ever find the white dash pad reflecting into the windshield?

    The only thing that could possibly keep me away from the same color scheme.

    The dash color on the Harvest Beige is not white. It is a very light Tan (almost cream color). And, it doesn't reflect at all on the windshield. That combination looks richer than the Gray or Black. The gray color scheme did have a whitish dash (I test drove a 3 with that configuration) and I did not find the white dash appealing. It was too stark. Also, with the Beige configuration, it softens the white insert tray.
