What are some things you want on the next version of Entune?

    I don't know when the next updated version of Entune comes out. I think Entune is one of the best infotainment systems. Some of the things I would like include:

    1.) Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

    2.) Google Maps Navigation (like Audi, probably never going to happen)

    3.) Better voice commands

    4.) More apps

    5.) Updated current apps (some are looking dated compared to smartphones)

    6.) Better, clearer traffic info

    What do you guys think should be on the next update of Entune?

    It needs to be faster, for one. I get a better experience using the Pandora app on my phone and just sending the audio, than using the Pandora app on Entune.

    Car Play, too, for sure. It seems a no-brainier to have better integration with Apple and Android phones.

    The navigation needs, as you say, to integrate with Google. I use Waze all the time. I want to be able to use Waze through Entune.

    I have few complaints about my new car. But, the navigation and Entune are on that very short list. I should not have to feel that my phone still needs to be mounted where I can see and use it if needed while driving.

    Oh, and stop blanking out options because the car is moving. You're not my mom.

    Better integration with Android would be nice. Not everyone who drives a Prius owns an iPhone (or wants to give money to Apple when their customer service can't be bothered to deal with hacked accounts... but I digress...).

    One other small detail: I'd like to be able to rearrange the three-panel home screen so that the large panel is on the left and the two smaller panels are on the right. I haven't found a way to do that in my car yet. The nav would be more useful to me on the left side (with Audio and Eco on the right, farther away from me) than the default layout, which has it the other way around.

    More granular control over the audio system's sound tuning. Even very cheap third-party head units these days can give you a simple spectrum equalizer with at least 5 bands to adjust, along with positional tuning (setting individual-speaker delays, etc. - not just changing front/rear and left/right volume).

    Finally, I'd like the ability to "turn off" app and audio tiles that I never intend to use - not just reorder them. That way, I could use the Mode button to cycle through the options I do use (USB, Bluetooth, AM, FM, CD if inserted) without also having to go through the ones I don't want to use (Pandora, XM, etc.).

    There's no Entune in Canada? Or are you talking about CarPlay?

    No Entune in Canada. So no Bing Search or HD traffic etc etc. we don't get Pandora anyway so no biggie on that one.

    Can current/older Priuses have it updated? Or would we have to buy a brand new Prius that comes equipped with updated version of Entune?
