I just realized this leak under my 2007 Prius not too long ago. Attached is an image of the leak, and I circled where it is coming from. It is coming from the front of the car. Is this an issue? Any suggestions?
i think so. there are several places it could be coming from. you'll probably have to get under there, clean everything real well, than look for the culprit with a bright light. can you determine if it's oil or coolant?
I try to see if is oil or water...coolant is pink. Pretty common to have water pump leak which normally you see pink salts by the water pump. Check your radiator coolant, make sure its got the Toyota pink fluid and is full to the radiator cap. Check your oil level.
Place a sheet of white paper under the car to catch the fluid dripping from the car. Hopefully it will better show what color and consistency it is.
It seems clear, and it's very humid and hot where I live, so I believe it is in fact simply the A/C. On a separate note, does anyone know what all that white stuff is coating the bottom of my car? How can u clean that off without damaging anything?
