As you all know there are no speakers in the rear door of a Prius C one. There are also no wires for a speaker. No big deal, I have pulled wire into a door many times. Can't do it! The rubber boot that goes through the door has a wire harness connector that covers the entire boot in the pillar, it actually looks like one piece. Does anyone here know how to remove that connector to get access into the door with a speaker wire? I managed to to unhook the harness but in doing so the plastic clip that looks it broke off. Not good. Any Help will be Appreciated, Derek
The harness should unplug fairly easily. Once it's unplugged you can drill a hole through one of the unused locations on the harness and route your speaker wire through alongside all the other wires. After that it all goes back together nicely and looks stock.
