It came with it. It isn't too bad, sort of makes the hub caps match the car more, but it will probably be removed. And I will not be paying extra for it either.
If it doesn't bother you, that's cool and the only thing that matters. I'd have it removed before picking it up but thats only because I don't like pinstriping, only reason I asked. And yes wjtracy, I bounce between black and white vehicles, only colors I ever really go for. I did have a red Volt, that was an anomaly. Every other vehicle has been black or white. Well, except for the PiP, had to get grey since black wasn't offered, Thanks Toyota. Lol
I parked next to a nautical blue Prius the other day that had a dual pinstripe that was red and white on it. I almost removed it for them.
It is actually Magnetic Grey, but it was very overcast outside making it look black. I really like the color.
I like the grey although I don't think I saw it in person or don't remember it. I test drove a sea foam, which although I like green, I didn't care for it. I thought about black (especially when I initially looked at the Prius C persona first) but my husband, being a practical person, said black cars get into more accidents (I've never been in one). The pin striping though, I'd have to see it in person, it does look kind of odd in the pictures and this is coming from someone who has side body molding.
Thanks! I will get some pictures up soon. Probably start a new thread that I can keep updated with changes etc.
i saw my first gen 4 in the wild today. what a beautiful car! it's amazing how pics don't do it justice.
Sorry to hear about your initial loss, but looks like you recovered quickly! The pin striping does look sharp. Congrats on your new 2016!
Are DRL (Daytime running lights) not compulsory in the USA? All versions in EU/Germany have fog lights with DRL function too...interesting. PS: very nice colour! I am getting the same one good choice!
I went to the local dealership over the weekend to see the gen 4 in person. To me it looks just like the pictures. I pretty much had no emotion over it either way. The front looks like a hammerhead shark to me. I saw a two, two eco and a four. I was most put off my the black plastic inserts where DRLs are on the higher models. I wonder if this is something that could be changed by the buyer later.
Actually I misinterpreted the distorted reflection of the other cars below the pin-stripe as body damage from the original accident. <gulp> Bob Wilson Bob Wilson
Now that you mention it when I go back and look at the picture it does look like damage on the side. I can assure u it has none. I looked that thing over good! Will get some pics up soon! iPhone ?
Actually, those plastic inserts are where the fog lights are on the Touring models. Yes, eventually there will be aftermarket fog light kits for the non Touring models. All 2016 models have DRLs BTW.
