Hello, I would like to introduce my self to the Prius community. My name is Cesar and last week purchase my Brand New 2015 Prius 4 from Toyota of Escondido. The Prius hasn't hit a thousand miles yet and the first mod was tinting the windows 20%, next modification is looking on lowering it on H&R springs and changing the Tail lights to all red Valenti's. I was gonna choose to go with Tanabe springs but after seeing a Prius in person with them, I didn't like that the rear looks a lot lower then the front leaving it with a tire gap in the front and the rear tire sitting flush with the fender.
Hi Caesar. I'm new as well and just purchased a new 2015 Prius Two. Can I ask how much you paid for your Four? I was considering the Five but there are two Fives and even fewer Twos left of the 2015s...
With the rebates and my Discount since I work @ Toyota of Escondido it was $27k and some change OTD, I did end up putitng 3g's down so my monthly payment would be $420 with a 1.9APR
I'd like to welcome you aboard and I look forward to your contributions to this forum. I am a newbie as well since we purchased our Prius Two in November 2015. We've been happy with our purchase and enjoy the fuel savings. We are looking forward to a long & reliable relations ship with the Prius.
Whenever I see these words on Priuschat, inevitably within the next 12 months, I see For Sale: Valenti's, H&R springs, etc. Very few performance modders tend to stick around for more than a year. I'd recommend your hold off on any expensive mods until you are happy with you car. Good luck on your Prius.
I never thought about modding my Prius. I imagine the H&R springs would give it a more aggressive look but I would not want to create a rougher ride. Also, would that kill the warranty?
Thanks mmmodem but we're keeping the Prius for a long time from what my wife told me yesterday, "I love this car, I feel like I can drive anywhere" and by versa with me too. plus I don't like the new body style on the 2016. Awesome!! where you located priusde?? I bet it does kill any warranty on the suspension but personally I don't care. The car is mind and am making it my own.
