2005 traction light issues

    Hi guys, i have a 2005 prius, just replaced the HV battery and 12v. But not have 3 codes coming on..

    I added a photo of the lights currently on
    -U0123 "Lost communication with yaw rate sensor module"
    -U0124 "Lost communication with lateral acceleration sensor module"
    -U0126 "Lost communication with steering angle sensor module"

    Not too sure where to start i've located the yaw rate sensor and was going to replace but wanted to see what you guys had to say first. ANY help is very appreciated.

    BTW: It seems to run and drive fine.

    Have you tried to clear the codes? All of those sound like possible caused by bad 12V.

    Tried to clear and nothing happened. Disconnected the 12v and nothing, its reading 12v though.

    welcome! maybe 12v isn't enough. a new battery should read 13v at rest. alternatively, some codes need to be reset by a reader.

    Like Bisco says, the ABS (and probably VSC) related DTCs will not be reset by disconnecting the 12 V battery. These can only be cleared by using an appropriate code reader.

    I have a Bosch scam tool and have tried a few times and still nothing..

    you might need a prius aware tool, all scam tools are not created equal.:cool:

    the only one i know of that does it all is the mini vci. there are many threads here on them, it's the official toyota tech stream software. you need an old laptop. it's possible some other scan gauge will work, but i'm not sure.
