I have a 2005 Prius. This morning the engine would not start. The lights came on for about a minute, then flickered, then went dead. I did not leave the fob in the car overnight or the lights on or the door opened, so I'm not sure if the battery could have drained. About 15 minutes before this happened my husand opened the back hatch by opening a door and pressing the "open" button. He did not have his fob and wonders if he somehow triggered a security mechanism that shut the car down?
What did you do during that minute. Was the car in "ready" mode? Did you drive it? Or something else. Maybe the battery was weak and the hatch light or door light on for 15 minutes was enough to finish it. It's hard to know unless we have more information about what happened in the minute prior to going dead.
The Prius' small battery does not tolerate much draining. To test yours see here: http://priuschat.com/forums/newbie-forum/73400-weird-stuff-happening-mpgs-dropping-test-battery.html
Hello i have problems with toyota prius 2005 1.5 its wont start up when press brake and start button its just show on dashboard all lights and triangle and nothing else i change battery in new one but its not help the same on the screen whrite only problem nothing more maybe somebody have this problem before and know how to fix it . the same as in video.
I mean 12v battery Some people say that need to change hybrid inverter or relays but where i can find it and how can check it ? How can check brake pedal sensor maybe its not working?
You need to get Mini VCI so that you can read any logged DTC. While you are waiting to get that, put the 12V battery on a charger to make sure it is fully-charged before you continue troubleshooting. Press hard on the brake pedal when you are trying to start the car. I noticed the READY light flickering a few times in your video, so the brake light sensor is probably working OK. It is premature for you to be talking about replacing parts like the inverter or the system main relays, lacking any clue about what is actually wrong with your car. That is why you need to retrieve the DTC. You can obtain factory service manual info at the Toyota Europe techinfo site, once you know what the DTC are: Toyota Service Information
Ok thanks guys now im looking who can come to my home to do it later when i know fault code whrite here thanks anyway now for help I try this to press hard edal and start its not help

Or you might be able to get an entire service plug from a scrap yard or used parts reseller. I see used ones on ebay for $20 - $30 search for: prius battery plug
16pin Mini VCI Toyota Lexus TIS TechStream OBD2 Diagnostic Interface Scanner | eBay you talking guys about tbis tool for diagnostic for toyota?
Yes Of course, the question is why the fuse was blown. It is not easy to make that happen. So it is a good idea that you are going to get Mini VCI as you will probably need that to retrieve the DTC again after you install a new fuse and it blows.
