Do we still have to deal with that silly flexible gas tank?

    Our plugins have smaller tanks than the non-plugins.

    interesting. is it due to the size of the battery, or do they figure you don't need as much gas? i hardly ever have to fill up.

    Probably both. In sure it offsets both the size and also the added weight of the Big Battery.

    My company moved me to a new building without chargers. After six months, I finally found the row of outlets where I can charge. It's a BYOC deal.

    I keep wishing I could just reach in there and yank the top half of the tank upward to release any kinks that might have formed in the accordion. :p

    My frustration is mostly that the bladder seems to limit my range. I know some Gen-2 owners can get as much as 500 miles per tank on a regular basis and not even have their gauge flashing, so only getting 350 or so to the 1-bar-flashing stage is kinda frustrating.

    Either the tank isn't actually accepting as much gas as it's designed to, or the gauge is miscalibrated and I actually have more gas in there than it lets on. I've never deliberately run it out of gas to test this theory (though I inadvertently did do that once to my '05, and found that I had a range of approximately 60 miles between flashing and empty).

    In any event, looks like I may have just secured my 2016 for a good price. :) May be a proud new owner of a Blue Three on Saturday!

    Exactly. 4 bladder stops per tank exactly. Assuming you drink coffee. Other wise fall asleep and let the lane assist and radar cruise take over.
