Someone hit my car and took off, and I'm left with a busted tail light and a big fat dent in the bumper. The tail light is not bad, just a small piece came off, but I have it, and I'm going to repair it with epoxy. The bumper, though, isn't really fixable. I took it to a shop for a quote, and they quoted $262 for a new bumper cover from Toyota, plus about $135 to paint it. I'll pay them to install one if I can find it elsewhere, though. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here to see if by any chance anyone happens to have one, in the right color in reasonably good shape. It's a 2010 Prius III, in Blizzard Pearl. Thanks!
My 2011 that I bought used has some damage to the rear bumper cover that it came with. There's a shop on ebay selling them for $262, painted to match, free shipping, for $266: New Painted to Match Rear Bumper Cover for 2010 2015 Toyota Prius TO1100280 | eBay Apparently it's not too difficult of a job to change yourself. I've been weighing whether I want to spend the money for something purely cosmetic...
I saw that one, I wonder if they have any additional charge for the 3 stage paint, though. Some other listings for pre-painted parts have a surcharge for the pearl white.
They also have just primed ones for only $80 - that plus my shop's charge for paint comes out to only $215, less than the pre-painted one: New Primered Rear Bumper Cover for 2010 2015 Toyota Prius 5215947905 TO1100280 | eBay
