Back Seat will not lock in up position

    I folded my back seat down, now it will not lock into the up position! Help anyone?
    I inspected the locking mechanism and it doesn't appear to have anything wedge in there.

    Sometimes the rear seat belts get caught between the lock and will cause it not to lock.

    Yeah, I've had that happen. The seat has to move fully back before the little pull-up latches will pop back down again. If there's almost anything at all between the outer parts of the seat back and the body then the seat back won't be able to move far enough for the latches to engage.

    I'll double check after work, it's possible something is wedged between there.

    Thanks guys, I found out the back padding was pushed up too far. My back seat closes now!!!!!!! yay!
