This is a 2010 Prius auto dimming mirror with wiring harness. I do not have the black plastic piece that covers the wires running to the headliner.. You can buy this part for $8-9 from Toyota. $125 shipped
Do you know the part number for the cover? What's the part number for the mirror? Does the mirror normally come with the harness?
87810-0W260 mirror 87818-47010 mirror cover .. you will need this.. $9 i think i also have wire harness.. you can just tap into your existing wiring
http://www.toyotapart.com/PT374-47100.pdf This is the install for the add on from toyota, but isnt the original add on from the factory. The mirror i have is the original mirror that came on a prius. The instructions show you how to install. Alot of this is plug and play.
Why is so much wiring needed to send 12V, Ground, and 12V standby signals? Only three pins run to that mirror.
I removed this from another Prius... I also took out the entire wiring harness running to it with plugs.
