Ordered some bumper plugs...

    I wonder if you can take it back to the dealer and complain?

    If not, you might want to look into filling the holes with some fiberglass, smoothing it out, and painting over it.

    Bumper may look weird with 6 plugs :-/

    Paintable silicone and touch up paint worked for me. But nothing is going to make that look normal.

    Why would anyone need to drill 6 holes for something that requires 2!? Ridiculous

    Mine had 4 holes in the bumper and I'd ordered the bumper plugs before checking :(

    I just put the tag bracket back on and threw a state flag on it :LOL:

    Yea I totally did not check before I ordered my bumper plugs either. I figured that no one would take the time to drill 6 holes if they only needed 2. My prius's face is scarred!

    i bought mine from home depot.. they matched my BP pretty nice.. but for silver you might have to paint them.

    6 might look weird..

    2 main holes are for the bracket mounting. 2 more holes get made when the screws for the license plate are screwed in too far. Bad design, poorly implemented. Looks like the OPs dealer started by making the bracket holes in the wrong place, then covered the mistake with the bracket and plate. The original bumper cover has 2 little nipples marking the location of the bracket holes, so somebody couldn't figure that out.

    they look like this..

    White Nylon Hole Plugs - Fastener Line

    but were under a buck each.. look in the specialty hardware section where the nuts and bolts are

    When I bought my car, Dianne the Prius dealer made sure there'd be no license bracket on my bumper.
