I purchased a used 2015 Prius Two this week (super white), and I'm loving it! It's a huge upgrade from my sad 2000 Corolla. I got to take her on a 9 hour road trip yesterday, and it's fun playing with the different modes and seeing what positively and negatively affects the MPG. I feel like I'm learning to drive all over again! I've spent the last few weeks lurking around these forums, using your stories to decide if the Prius was the right car for me, and I've learned so much from all of you. And I'm drooling over some of your mods! This forum is a wonderful resource. And I'm glad to now be one of you.
I love The Prius for long road trips. With the Hybrid fuel efficiency along with low gas prices right now, nearly any and all road trips boil down to whether I have the time to take them...NOT the cost of transportation...and that's a really GREAT benefit of owning a Prius.
Road trip? You should have seen ours after I drove it from Houston, TX to Grand Junction, CO. Talk about filthy. Had to make a side trip on a back road to get fuel in the middle of the night in W. Texas. Needless to say the car wash in Grand Junction got it's money from me that day. Enjoy the new ride
