Is it possible to change the regional setting of fuel economy? I currently have l/100km set which is much less accurate than mpg or kmpl (=kilometers per liter). For example 4.1l/100km is 57.2 mpg and the next step 4.2l/100km is 55.9mpg. So mpg has 13 steps to represent the difference when l/100km has only one step. I know that MFD has inaccuracies (5-7%), but I'd still to change from l/100km to kmpl
On the Western side of the Atlantic, I have not been able to figure out how to change MPG into l/100km. I find this odd, because I can change the speedometer on my car to indicate km/h. Unless someone else tells us how to do this, my guess is it can't be done--you have to make the calculation by hand. By the way, your note indicates that you've heard that in the US/Canada, there have been many complaints that the MPG readings that the Prius' computer gives are about 5% too high (about 2.4 mpg on my car), once you figure it out by hand. Is this a problem for you? Thanks!
I would much prefer klpl rather than l/100. I believe this is the way the Japanese version is - too bad we can not change it. I calculate each tank using klpl and no matter which way we use nothing beats our Prius
IF you hold down the trip button while not displaying trip distance A or B, but the whole vehicle odometer, you'll switch from KPH to MPH or back. I did this accidentally after getting gas and wanting to reset my trip A and B (which you do by holding the same button while displaying the trip mileage) and not paying attention. SM-N920V ?
Nobody knows how, because it can't be done. You can change mph/kmh, but not the fuel economy units. Hey, with 2016 Prius: you can't even change mph/kmh. I believe someone emailed Toyota and was told to take along a calculator, lol.
Nice!!! I will buy it. Maybe someday!! Hahhaa but great. Now im looking for radio wiring diagram colors im goint to put NAVIGATION system tonight
