After many many years of contemplating an Electric or Hybrid, we finally took the plunge and purchase a slightly used 2015 Prius Persona, with 9456 Miles on the clock. We absolutely LOVE IT!! Blizzard Pearl white paint, has the JBL Audio upgrade, and the solar Panel vent option with sunroof. The Tan Leather(ette) id very comfortable, and the whole car is so fun to drive! We would never have opted for the Radio and Solar Panel options, but this car had it and we were satisfied with the price, so we went for it. SO HAPPY!!
Congrats! Blizzard is a very good color for the Prius but I think we're biased? Based on your description, I don't think it's a Persona. I thought they changed what the Persona package was in 2015 but after reading this, the changes were minor and was just in concert with what was equiped with other models(Mainly the side mirrors with turn signals). From the sound of it you have a package 4 since it has the sunroof. Thanks. It is an odd bird SFCyclist, in the end, we love the car. it does NOT have the 17" wheels, which is fine, as the 15" are cheaper. The Leather(ette) is Wonderfully soft, and the Heated seats option is very nice. My wife called me today to tell me on the way home from work today not only did the bottoms heat up (Like our '01 VW New Beetle) but also the seat backs heated up! - She was most impressed)! The Leather is nice, the JBL Audio is cool, I've allready downloaded the App on my phone for it... Cool Sunroof, cool Solar panel (hah! Get it? ) I think we'll be happy with this car. Friday I get to drive it 2 hours to a business meeting... where I will meet up with another older Prius owner, and we can compare notes. Doogie
I haven't noticed that the seat backs heat up, but then again I am always wearing a heavy coat in the car and haven't been on a trip longer than about 15 minutes yet. I'll have to check that out. If you have heated seats you have a four. What about homelink, do you have that also?
Yeah my wife noticed the seat backs heating up on our four also. Is the driver's seat a power adjustable seat? That will really tell the tale as only the four and five have it
The sunroof confirms it's either a 3 or the 4 since that is only an option on those models. Then with the JBL and heated seats, I say it's a 4.
Hi gang. Yea, it has the power seat, and the leather seats are not softex with "Red stitching", the stitching is the same color (tan). I think its a 4 with a bunch of ordered add ons (Solar Roof/JBL Audio, and the special "Prius" sticker on the bumper). It does not have the 17" wheels or the turn signal mirrors. It does have HomeLink in the mirror... so, Prius 4 with an Audio upgrade and Solar Roof upgrade?
The heads up display was part of the solar roof package on the four (but not on the three solar rood package). My four doesn't have the solar roof package and therefore not the HUD either.
The solar roof is very cool. That to me makes the model 4 the best model of the gen 3's in my book. iPhone ?
sweet! So it seems as though they were trying to pass it off as a Persona, when in fact it really is a 4 with the Solar roof package and HUD? So, I don't have the 17" wheels and Turn Signal/Puddle Lamp mirrors, but, I have everything else the Persona doesn't have. Nice. I like it. Took me FOREVER to get the homelink working with our garage doors though! I have ONE button working, good enough for now. Thanks to PRIUSCHAT for helping me with this! Just signed up with toyotaowners also... This is a GREAT SITE!!!
No idea why they would pass it as a persona when a model 4 is higher up he model line. A persona is technical a 3 with nicer 17" wheels and softex. The turn signal mirrors are an option? I thought it's standards on all 2014 and up? iPhone ?
