I have a loud low rumbling noise from front of my Prius when acceleration. It sounds like a problem with exhaust system but I don't see anything obvious wrong.
Rumbling noise up front on a G2 has been alot of times bad wheel bearing which is common on a Prius. Get up to speed or fast enough to hear the noise and put the car in neutral which shuts off the engine and then your just gliding. if the noise persists its a wb. If car goes quiet its the engine/exhaust. If a wb you can tell which one it is by turning the wheel while driving and listening for less or more noise. Turn right its louder its the left bearing. Turn left its louder its the right bearing.
it could be intake noise too. maybe someone replaced the air filter and didn't close the box properly?
