Something I like about the power windows in gen. 3 is that they slow down before fully closing and come to a smooth stop .
Do they work the same way in gen. 4 ?

    Very interesting.....

I have a 2016 4 Touring with the auto dimming mirror and I have been unable to see ANY difference between it is switched on, vs. when it is switched off.

I have never had this feature before so I am not sure what to be looking for, but it seems like it is always in the auto dimming mode.

    What's up?

I'll check when I get home, but i think it slightly slows down

I am from Chicago FYI...I asked what is the OTD price for the two eco and they gave me 29K until I told them I dont want added security and permaplate on there but they didnt want to lower the price so I asked for the GM and that is when I got an OTD price with TTL for the 2016 prius two eco for $27,200 and they didnt even have it in stock. I am trying to get this car for my gal since I already have the 3rd gen. I found out about the price for Costco on the forums here and they knocked in down to $26,363 OTD at another dealership(2nd dealer), then I went to test drive it with my gal at another dealership( 3rd one so far) she loved it and they told me $26,263 OTD for the two eco, then me and my gal went to another dealership(4th one) right after and they gave us a price OTD for $26K even! I am planing to go to two more dealerships and get the price down to $25,700 OTD then Ill be happy : ) What do you guys think? Is it a fair price so far and how much lower you think I can go?? I am a good talker lol

It's interesting that over there you can actually negotiate the price of the product.
Over here in the EU if something costs 100€ you pay 100€ or you don't get it.
It's even illegal to change the price only for one customer as price has to be set before the selling starts and tax calculated accordingly.
So if you want to buy a car for 34000$ there is no chance that you will be able to haggle it down - and yes, price matching and whatnot does NOT exist in any form - except for fish markets and so on.

In the United States, everything is negotiable, except rare items. Besides, hybrids and electric vehicle are currently not selling very well with our current gas prices.

There is a saying in the US: "Only fools pay retail".

Maybe that was something Croatia specific. At least on my country/area you can have discounts, depenging of your negotiation skills. Though when I was making contract of new Prius we mainly discussed of the price of my old car. Didn't care does they lower price of new car or raise trade-in value of my old car. Asked quotes from 3 different seller. There was 5000€ difference in offers between the best and worst. That is quite much!

Not for cars. Someone in Germany already bought a new Prius with 17% below list price.

Well, apparently it may be different out there. Sorry for bad info then. Maybe those people that got the discount were in some kind of discount programme of traded in their vehicles?

Nice cars btw, considering how bad reception was of the design I'm glad that it actually looks great irl.

Whoa! Nobody else asking about the black finish console etc? All that nonsense about the white, only the white is available, etc. and now we see black?

I didn't know it either, until the dealer sent me photos yesterday that my center console color is black finish as Factory standard, there is some white color left from shift knob and steering wheel area though but acceptable in my opinion.Perhaps covered it with 3M vinyl?

If you look at the sticky about the Visual Tables for Gen4 Package Combinations you will see that the Two and Two Eco don't have the white bone china "upgrade."

My gen 3. Executive Facelift with the solar roof and parking sensors, pearl white would have been about 35.000 Euros .
I got it for 31.000 others even only paid roundabout 30.000 !
So it is possible to negotiate in Germany !

They will probably start making those trays in black on the future cars, or at least some of them if the public opinion was bad about them.
