I am trying to get texting to work to receive on my Head Unit and am thinking the problem may be with google voice. The head unit sees my phone number as 555-1212 but my google voice number where I receive texts is 555-4444 Does anyone have an android with Google Voice and is receiving texts? I am running android 4.0.3 Samsung Galaxy S2 on sprint I have the 7.1 inch screen on the Advanced PHEV Not sure what version of Entune came installed on my car, trying to determine that.
i'm bumping this... as, i'm having the same issue. txt messages that i receive via my google voice number are NOT be displayed on the entune head unit / screen. txt sent to my cell number display with no problems but my cell coverage is spotty where i live and give out my google voice number because when i'm home i'm connected to wifi. anyone figure this out??? thanks. joel
