Orange triangle exclamation point. Check hybrid system. Red thermostat light blinked three timed

    So all above came on three hours after oil change at Toyota dealer. No codes from my scanner. Loss of power on hill and white looking steam out of exhaust briefly. No overheating. Car being flatbedded to Toyota. Out of warranty. Any ideas? What is this about ext warranty on inverter?

    You can log on to Toyota Owners Official Web Site to get a list of open recalls for the vehicle. If the car is in the VIN range a failed inverter may be covered if it has set specific codes.

    I would visit the car on the lot to determine the oil level and to verify there is an oil filter in place.

    Another idea is a blown head gasket but speculation is meaningless. Let us know what you discover.

    Update? I had check hybrid system recently after dealer visit. Went away after reset and I didn't have temp warning.
