    Hey guys,

I had a 2006 that busted a cylinder at 305,000 miles, and I bought a 2010 Prius IV with navigation, JBL, bluetooth. The unit is defective and it operates incorrectly 95% of the time, and needs to be replaced. My radio model is a E7022, and a 2014 model prius also has an E7022, but a different button lay out. Am I okay to purchase a used 2014 radio to install in my 2010? Will there be any issues? Do I need this programmed for my VIN by a dealership or can a third party shop just install it?

2010 uses 7 inch Gen 6 navigation. 2014 does not use E7022. It's Gen 7 with Entune. The plugs are different. You'll have look for another E7022 on eBay.

Is there anyway I can get a wiring harness to make this fit inside my 2010 prius?

On another note, if I buy a Jensen head unit, such as this one, can I use the existing antennas for GPS and XM by buying appropriate wiring harnesses? If so, where can I get them?

You're better off getting an OEM E7022 radio. The factory rear camera is 6 volt. You'll have to use a step down voltage converter. I don't think the OEM mic will work either with aftermarket headunit. If you're going to through all the trouble with swapping out the headunit, might as well get the 8" Android unit.
