Over the weekend, my Camry that I alway park in the street in my front of my house was hit and totaled. I got a good settlement and took the opportunity to look and by a 2006 Prius with 153K miles. Now, I'm looking forward on having my Prius for a long time and I know my concern is the battery Roger
If the battery is a concern, you can change it out for a newer one. Then you'll be good for years to come. I did that with my 2005 when I bought it and now it's driven worry free
I recently had to replace my battery. It was expensive but I plan on keeping my prius for a very long time. You can make observations on the battery and report here. Usually the people here can make educated guesses as to how much longer the battery will last just by how its charging and discharging.
I wouldn't worry about the battery. Replacement rates are very low for Prius, at 4%. 2015 Subaru Outback and Legacy | Video Review - Consumer Reports If you were still driving your Camry, it's more likely it would need a new transmission than a Prius needing a new battery.
