the iHeart interface through entune has not functioned since the buggy update that Toyota pushed out in 2015. Today, the diagnostic team at the local dealer confirmed: new radio. I'm hoping that the replacement will not be updated if it has the ole 3.2 firmware. It'll take a week, I'm told. Toyota confirmed there was an issue; and the dealer confirmed, that the iHeart application via entune does not work.
I let the techs know that the radio and the head unit should not be "upgraded" to the latest virus ... I mean ... latest entune software. I also found that the latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are not officially supported. %$^*!
so many entune posts...as soon as I installed entune on my phone a couple years ago, I deleted right off the bat, useless app, along with the fact that BT (of playing music/directions from whatever apps) works fine for me without having to deal with an app that is pretty much useless
New radio installed and the same issue remains: iHeart via entunes does not connect. Seems to be an issue with many users, as well.
