We have a tan set of Husky liners in our 2005 and they are awful. The thin plastic is too rigid and it slips around and fits poor. In our RAV4, FJ cruiser, and Camry hybrid we mostly use Weathertech. That's the preference. The FJ has Rugged Ridge up front and they are doing great. The Weathertech and Rugged Ridge liners are more flexible and rubber like than the Husky I have. Husky may have changed - the Prius got its mats in 2010. iPhone ?
You are right , the Husky's are made of molded plastic and not rubber, but I pointing the protection these mats offer. The fit is adequate and perfect for winter's slushy snow carpet protection. The Toyota rubber mats are a lot more adequate for show presentations and/or summer season. Always you should have a pair for different applications like the tires for each season, in my criteria.
Just remember to cut the little traction spikes that touch the dead petal on the drivers side. In a year you will have cut the plastic petal and make divots that look terrible. I posted pics on another review. I also cut the top of some of the spike where I grab the edges with my hand to remove them for cleaning. They can scratch your hands and the car plastic while trying to maneuvering them to remove and clean. 86K miles on my Husky's. They still work and look great. my2cents.
