Today I installed the Ultra Racing back seat floor bar. I hope this helps others on deciding if they want to install one. First off I felt I needed a washer to go between the bar and seatbelt bolt, but decided to pass because the thickness of the washer was taking up valuable threads since the bar flange is so thick. Perhaps a very thin washer if you decide you want one. Secondly the carpet made it hard to get the bolt threads started since it pushed the mounting flanges away from the body of the car. Looking back I probably could have done it without cutting the carpet but it turned out fine. I also used blue LocTite on the seatbelt bolt for added security. Ok so now it's in....I'm 6' 1" w a size 12 shoe. I'm not sure on the comfort factor that it puts my feet at. I'm sure my kids will let me know. Oh and it's def going to get dirty... Stepped on and probably scratched over time if you have many passengers. I hope the pictures help. Let me know if you have questions. I now have installed.
Ultra Racing rear floor bar and rear strut tower bar
Cusco front strut tower brace, front, mid and rear frame stiffeners
Performance plus package wheels and tires, TRD Springs and rear sway bar.
Only thing left would be a front sway bar and lower Arm brace.
    PROS:
At this point this thing feels like a go cart. Very stable at high speeds and in crosswinds, corners amazingly well and the steering tracks right where you point it w no effect.
    CONS:
Way more road noise transferred to cabin
Way more road vibration felt in the seat
    Much more bumpy ride

All in all I love this car for my daily 100 mile commute. I have seen NO decrease in mileage. Yesterday I got 52.6 mpg over 130 miles and that was with a few fun excellerations

Photos would not upload. I'll try again later.

    Oh, that's a decent commute.

I also have a long commute.

I use to have a Nissan Xterra and loved it but
did not enjoy spending all that money on gas.

That's how I got myself into a Prius.

i see were postin' some snowy pics here... Its not as bad as last yr, but this is what its like today. The Blizzaks and X-Ice tires are amazing by the way, so much more control in the snow and black ice.

Yes. The throttle response is much more sharp in the Hi-Throttle mode.
Combine that with the "Power" mode and it helps with maneuvering in competitive traffic.

I use Bluetooth mostly so I haven't listened much, but I did test it out on a few am and fm stations. the fm sounded about normal the am might be a little less but that could also be due to our metal building. Most signals seem distorted when Im near it.

    Snow photos reporting in.

It didn't snow enough for this to really make a huge difference... but, proof of concept.
