Has anyone else experienced brake squeak when in reverse and the ICE is not engaged? I am wondering if that means that the electric brakes do not function when in reverse...and that is the sound of my grinding the rust off of my brakes (especially since this time it happened the morning after I washed it).
That squeek happens in all cars that are in reverse when you apply the brakes. The rotors are rotating the opposite direction they were against the pad....

My 2006 has done that recently too. It seems like it stopped after about a week of doing it. Glad I'm not the only one. Has anyone taken it to the dealer for this or have an OFFICIAL explanation? It is kind of embarassing for my brand new car to SQUEAK as I back out of my driveway. Shari
