^Thanks for posting that. I may consider the TRD springs. I wish the drop was slightly less than 1.2" maybe .95 or something. But that's fine I guess. I want it slightly lower but want to retain a professional adult look.

I'm glad the alignment doesn't really change with such a small drop. makes sense though. otherwise you'd need an alignment every time people sit in the car. 1" shouldn't really cause anything given a good installation. As long as my car drives straight, i'll probably skip the alignment (if I install TRD springs)

I wonder if Toyota has spring pads you can buy? In the BMW world, BMW offers many various thickness of spring pads so you can adjust your ride height to your hearts content =)

Hey guys, this is my first post. I just recently bought a 2015 Prius three. i want to lower the car all around maybe 1". In the past I have done this to my rsx and 335i via springs only and end up having to get a camber kit because my tires were butterflying. Will i have the same issue with just going with springs on the Prius? i don't want to have worn out tires due to lowering the car. or should i invest in coil-overs? Thanks.

TRD springs made to work with stock shocks. Barely affected alignment. Tires wearing out evenly.

There's quite a few people selling them in the Private Sales section for like $100. If you want a new set, I've seen them on Amazon for around $150 on lucky days.

    When lowering a car, let's say 1.5 inches, would 18 x 8" rims and tires 225/40/18 fit without issue/rubbing?

The ET on the rims are 35.

Plug and play or need spacers, etc.? Tires not too wide so it will still be within the fenders?

    Thanks Ina advance.

When I make turns it feels sportier the body roll is gone. Here is a before and after pick with my new wheels image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Has anyone noticed an improvement after lowering? This appears that it would be a practical method to reduce drag.

I noticed a slight jump in my MPG after I installed the TRD springs -- about a 2" drop.

Tein H-techs. Put them in around 15k miles or so? I'm at 67200 and still on original struts/shocks. OEM tires went at 35k and the new ones are still going strong with maybe 1/32 discrepancy from outer to inner tread. Running 40/38 in summer and 38/36 winter.

That's where I've seen them before...
I've seen a few sets for sale on craigslist near me.
I like the look more than I thought I would.
    Might have to consider it.
