Planning to buy 2015 Prius 3 model ASAP as my car got totalled in an accident. I'm in southern california and got quotes from dealers for $21000 (+tax/fees). Is it a good deal? Can you share some recent purchase prices and if anybody got a better deal in LA/OC areas. Thanks
Prius 2 are going for $18k plus TTL. One member here said he got it for $17,xxx. So, it doesn't look like you got a great deal and can do better. iPhone ?
welcome! it's a long hard slog to try and find a dealer who will sell for the lowest of the low. i think 21k for a 3 is a very good price. all the best!
Prius 3 is 1-2 K more than 3 I guess. How do I know the dealer contact from where one of the members got the $17K deal for 2? Thanks. I will try to hold on till 31st to see if it goes down a bit
Get the quotes from truecar.com and if you are in the neighborhood contact @DianneWhitmire . She has an active thread.
I got some quotes from dealers based on truecar and contacted Dianne too. Dianne's quote is higher than a couple of delaers? For people in So-Cal hows Torrance and Hooman (Long beach) toyota dealership? Seeing lot of negative reviews on Yelp and I'm a little scared. Does the dealership matter? Can I go strictly on price?Hooman is also giving some VIP membersip for free. My cousin works in Toyota, Torrance and he gave me employee discount certificate. Has anyone used it to lower the price even further from the agreed/negotiated dealer price? Appreciate your comments.
doesn't matter where you buy it, except for the aggravation. you can get warranty service anywhere. keep in mind, dianne's pricing is honest, and you'll be in and out without a hassle. i'm sure there are other dealers like that, i just haven't found one in 40 years.
Update Got the quotes from internet sales team from Orange and Los Angeles counties. Lowest came from Hooman - Long Beach and was a excellent experience buying from them. Guys in So-Cal wanting a Prius head to Hooman Toyota of Long Beach. Hassle free, in and out in 90 minutes.
