<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(EricGo @ May 6 2006, 07:26 PM) </div> I generally fill up with 9.5 +/- gals after 500 miles in an '06 now with 2900miles on it.
How about 1397 miles on 12.8 gallons? Not me... they are the hyper milers.... http://www.toyota.com/html/hybridsynergyvi...l/marathon.html
You should have signed up for the Tour de Sol mileage competition, which I spammed multiple lists about a few weeks ago, and come up to Saratoga to put yer right foot where your fingers are. [boy, that came out weird] . _H*
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(hobbit @ May 6 2006, 08:47 PM) </div> Don't know how I missed it. I could have made it to Saratoga on less than 1/2 a tank! Hopefully I'll notice next such event. onward
I would like to organize a road rally some time. Over a course, time of course, can not exceed posted mph but you can drive at the mph for the segment, and best mpg for the course. I have not yet figured out a way to balance the three. I would like to add in obtuse directions that are riddles and such. That would add yet a fourth dimension. I will keep working on it.
Been a week and a day since delivery and we still have two squares showing in our fuel guage. Do these things ever run out of gas or do you just trade them in with the residual???
Well, I'm helping staff the mileage rally at TdS this year [although I'm totally new at this, only having been a participant last year], and will probably come home with plenty of lessons-learned. Which I'll be happy to dump into here if it helps similar events elsewhere. . _H*
