What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Took my 2015 Prius in for service for the squeaky creaky front left suspension noise. Of course the technician didn't find anything. He was too busy flooring my car through traffic. Anyway little did he know I had a dash cam. They didn't do anything too bad but made some off color remarks. Disappointing but typical I'm sure. Little does he know I'm not a typical Prius driver and have been building BMW M cars (and all other types of cars) from the ground up for quite a while now and know my sh!t.

Anywho. Just thought I'd share behind the scenes footage at the dealer. Deleted a lot of boring parts where the tech is blasting my custom sound system to the max. =/

 

wow, they took a joy ride while servicing your car? I would be outraged...

 

They had to "diagnose" the noise it was brought in for.

Got my 16" Konig Runlites (16.5 lbs) didn't wanna go bigger to retain or stay close to stock mpg since I drive 120 miles 5 days a week. Kept it close to the stock look but I'm really contemplating on just lowering it and I should be happy and content. Do you guys suggest coil overs or should I just get some springs?

Mechanic is definitely a biased opinionated idiot. He is jealous about people, money and why people bring their cars in. Why even be a mechanic? Freely sticks people with stereotypes and drives your car like its going out of style............. I would send your clip to the service manager, just for kicks!

I may or may not have let my key battery die and then leave it in the cup holder while I went into a store.

Is the air release loud as your is air'n out? I would want the air release to be loud as hell like a nitrous purge from the hood near the wipers or something on a cold night? People would be like what the........ Lol @Sean Callahan is there any option like this as well??

 

Drove my car from Pasadena to San Diego today. Got back in the car and my tpms light came on. Brand new tires and the right rear had 20 psi when I checked! Hopefully it's not a nail cause I literally just got my wheels and tires yesterday! Going back to the shop to get it checked on Monday

To celebrate 1000 mi on the odometer, got the windows tinted. 20% in the back, 35% in front.
