The Squid has probably fallen into a trance, repeatedly listening to "I am the Decider" and trying to draw a conclusion B) IF I were the Squid and theory #2 were the issue, I would have an easy solution. Can you say Menage a Trois? (Which by the way is the actual name of a very good red wine.)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Max Smart @ May 5 2006, 08:59 PM) </div> If I were The Squid, and theory No. 2 were the issue, we would have had a totally different outcome - you would have never heard from me again . . . BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE COMMITTED SUICIDE!!! Julia Roberts a “Pretty Woman Oh Paleeease! [we really need the puke smilies back!] Have you taken a really close look at her? She is freakishly weird looking. I wouldn't do her, even if I could borrow your squidly shaped body member. She is so far removed from what I consider beautiful - I cringe every time I see her picture. Her being cast in the lead role in “that†movie, rather than a more appropriate role as a skanky back-alley hoe, makes me believe the “casting couch†is still alive and well in Hollywood. Of all the pretty women they had to choose from, Julia Roberts was the best they could do?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Sufferin' Prius Envy @ May 6 2006, 03:00 AM) </div> I couldn't agree with you more actually. She is pretty strange looking. So let's wish her off on the Squid. At least the offspring would have a chance of improving their looks.
Julia Roberts was in the right place at the right time. Hollywood was ready for a new female "look", and a glamorous one. (At the time: Meryl Streep, Sally Field, Helen Hunt, Glenn Close, Debra Winger, Darryl Hannah---get the picture?) Roberts has a HUGE mouth, with that puffy upper lip. Her smile lights up large rooms. Now look at all the actresses with "bee-stung" upper lips (many thanks to collagen injections). Julia Roberts is responsible for that. Angelina owes her. Renee Zellweger, too.

So Squid, did you learn a lesson? Or are you going to continue to <strike>st</strike>ink up the place? Welcome back! [It shouldn't take long till we know if The Squid had been lobotomized or not. ]

p.s. I demand a rematch. . . There you go again. . . Ask [you] if you don't know. Johnval1 has many persona and is somewhat of a mystery even to himself. However, johnval1 and The Squidster are not one and the same. Squidley probably got popped for inciting riot and has had to lay low. Hence a rumored suspension? Johnval1 is foursquare, upright, of strong moral character and a streak of decency that runs deep. Certainly not a provocateur like the Mystery Squid.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(artie @ May 10 2006, 05:42 PM) </div> You are not stupid. There is an extremely stupid feature of this chat board by which, if someone places the "you" BBS Code tag in a message (the word "you" surrounded by square brackets) every person who views the message will see his own user name in place of the tag. You can determine if the original message really used your name, or the "you" tag by clicking on Reply. You will see the original message quoted in the reply box, and you will see whether it contains your name or the tag. I've complained about this, but everyone except me seems to think it is a great joke.

Or even "There's a difference in the commute I drive and [you] drives which explains the mileage difference," as that is a true statement. It can misused as well.
