    Audi has been pointed to cheat. Actually it was a A4, somehow got an 8 instead. :rolleyes:

    I think rear+front is meaningless if you don't know the total seat rail adjustment range. Gen3 had alot of rear leg space but front is deceiving low dash panels get in the way.

    We are really enjoying our Gen III purchased last week for $19K. I have said, on priuschat, that if I could just buy a brand new Gen II with zero miles on it I would. That is essentially what we did in buying the Gen III. There are a few nice improvements, and a couple of feature losses, but the experience is nearly the same.

    My biggest complaint about the Gen III was the flying buttress console. I just kicked using pain meds that I've been on for 4 years. I have claustrophobia, and the console bothered me. The pain meds were exacerbating my claustrophobia so when I got off them I could tolerate the console.

    We've kept the Gen II and will split our driving over the two cars. The Gen III will be used for any driving that involves leaving our little city,

    I have no regrets passing on the Gen IV. Perhaps in several years we'll pick up a new Gen IV for rock bottom prices.

    If the translation is correct, the front seat is placed 40mm rearward as a result of optimum driving position, safety and the pursuit of quietness. The last sentence mentions something about decent rear legroom but I need a Japanese speaker like @ken1784 to verify.

    I remember reading on TNGA that it will reduce 50+ combinations of seat/steering wheel/pedal to 10, so this must be main driver.

    Yes it will be quieter, A-pilar is one of the main noise makers on Gen3 and C.

    Hello,
    Did you do the soundproof yourself or gave to to some body shop? Initially I thought 2015 Prius was noisy on freeways, but after renting few Suvs (Nissan Rouge etc) Prius is silky smooth.May be on freeways about 75-80 miles per hour , I can hear bit of noise.But with the Radio/streaming on, I don't feel the difference.
