She is terrible, beautiful, haunting, all consuming, like the first girl you had a crush on in high school. The allure of her soft curves, the pale glow of her skin. Sleepless nights thinking of her. Knot in my stomach. Where is she now? Who is touching her. Why is she not with me? Oh beautiful Prius, how I long for thee. Three more endless weeks of torture. You will be mine!
Pitch a tent or rent a motel room near a dealer that has Priuses on the lot. Fondle OTHER people's Priuses while the critters are all smoking (usually around the side, where there's a picnic table). B)

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(xxxlmpg @ May 5 2006, 04:42 PM) </div> I'm rofl because I can relate. I've only had my Prius a week and can't stop thinking about it. I can't stand the thought of my hubby driving her. I want to finish the first tank then I'll let him have a ride. B)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TheLastPicasso @ May 5 2006, 06:49 PM) </div> ROFLMAO ! I,too have only had mine a week. I'm a teacher & I've actually changed where I park so I can see it when I look out my classroom window. When I'm home I find reasons to go outside to make sure it's still in the driveway and to brush dirt off it. A bird actually had the nerve to poop on it  . I may take it to the carwash tomorrow. I filled the tank up before going to a concert last Sunday & have driven to work all week. It's only 2 squares below half so I probably won't have to fill up again til Sunday. I average 41- 43 mpg. Mine's still in the break in stage & a guy I know who has one says that after 4-5,000 miles the gas mileage gets even better . I also read that either here or on priusonline.com.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(xxxlmpg @ May 5 2006, 05:42 PM) </div> Look what she'll be riding on her trip to you! She's travelling in style. (of course, I'd be concerned a little about the sailors during the trip.)

Couldn't help it, I just and to add something. This thread is just too funny. Dennis

Start collecting new toys for the car- microfiber cloth, sunshade, visor from Robin's Hoods (ebay) for the display, horizontal cargo net (not vertical) , etc. Clean out the garage so she/he has a pristine spot to park in....grin...
And order the Power Outlet mod from Coastaletech.com (they do take awhile). This is because the front power outlet does not stay "hot". When you turn off the car, the power outlet does not work- I like to keep cell phones charging, etc. even when not in the car or the car is turned off. $10. There are 2 outlets- you can only make the front one (under passanger legs) hot (easily). There is another in the console for other "things".
You should see me skulking in the parking lots at Safeway, a voyeur, peeking in side windows, running my hands over headlights ROLMAO~  Call the prius police we have another prius groper!!!!! You sicko fondling someone elses Prius!!!! Yea thats the problem with buying a used model. You never know how many have ridden her before you, where they better than you are? could they make her purr down the hwy? Is her front end starting to sag? are you going to buy her a new soft bra or are you going to just give her a lift with the clear silicone bra? Since shes new "a virgin so to speak" will you break her in gently? Will you service her before her main req light comes on? Will you cherish her after 100k? will she continue to uplift you when you grip her firm steeringwheel & tight buttons / knobs? If so it should be a match made in heaven!! You should never be ashamed of being seen with her anywhere, unlike the moped in the shed. "Mopeds are fun to ride and you like riding them, you just dont want your freinds to see you riding them"! Enjoy your new baby.... After you get her and park somewhere you too may feel violated when you notice someone elses palm print on your babys side or rear window, You will think to your self the nerve of someone peeking into her inner cabin only to forget you too were a past peeker/groper... LOL too funny of a thread!!!!
The wait will be worth it. I've had mine a few months. Really smooth power train and tight. Kind of reminds me of my old BMW R69S motorcycle 1966. smooth transportation...even if it isn't the Roll's equivilant completely. I'm very happy. Have a sunny day in California. Gary in Minnesota.
It will be worth the wait.. drive it for a couple of weeks and then install the BT plate, that will tighten it up even more.
