Did any one experienced the emergency flasher flash once or twice, when starting up the car (press brake + push start button)? What does these mean to my car? An error indicator? I've been facing this sometime but not too frequent, Toyota service guy said no error code appear in OBD?
i've never seen it, but i don't have a c. if you're not getting a code though, it's probably nothing to worry about.
No, I will switch off the headlamp everytime due to the reminder sound! But if our 12V battery in low charge state will cause the flasher blink twice to notify us? Sometime when i turn off my car after a ride, the flasher will also flash 1 time.
It almost seems like the same flashing behavior when the car lock/unlock actions are triggered by the key fob. How old is the battery in your fob? If it's 2 or more years old, I'd replace it.
I have had this happen to me once. I got in the car and turned the key and had my flashers flash twice. Don't think the actual blinkers came on but it showed up on the dash. 2015 Toyota Prius c with 1700 miles.
My C three lit the triangle and said KEYFOB BATTERY IS LOW in the dash upon turning the car off just today. Hazards did not come on.
This happened in my 2013 Gen 3 Prius the other day, I don't know why. Fob battery is only a year old, but fob is 8 years old.
