What was the problem? Bad relay, or a bad tap/splice?

I had one of those goofy ebay harnesses so it was a bit of reworking to make everything fit.

That's the problem with foglights, unless they're projectors with proper cutoffs, they'll shine light up high causing lots of glare.

Oil change and trans drain/fill. Definitely glad I serviced the trans.

I have a few more in mind and then maybe some brand logos from various parts used but I'm trying to find the magic amount. I think the size and color are perfect. Not too over the topast but still noticeable.

    Yes indeed.
I designed all of my current decals and had the cut by a friend.
I have a few more designs in mind and will likely put some manufacturer logos in the future as well for various parts used.
All in white vinyl of course.

Nice looking product, it's funny that this was posted as I just ordered a bunch of the material to make these types of stickers with my wife's Cricut

Taillight baking is complete! Was super easy, but the temps should definitely not be the same as the headlights. But besides morphing the edges pretty badly, the turnout still looks amazing and is fully functional on emitting light and closing the hatch.

you can see on the edges, I melted the sides. But thankfully did not interfere with installation.
and here's compared to other one not baked yet.

I almost changed the LEDs, but figured might be too risky. but had to open anyways to get reflectors out.

I tinted the vertical lights with 2 coats to make them darker.

putting it back together and re-baking...

old OEM tails I had plasti-dipped for 6 months with no issues.. compared to new ones!

will post more night-shots later. lights work great :D

EDIT: carwash to test if I sealed taillights good. Was kind of scared It would be a fish tank, but glad it didn't! Then did night-shots to show their light pattern.

Decided to abandon ship on the white-faced Work Meister S1 refinish and go silver instead. Gonna cost me an extra $225 over what it could've been, but it beats changing my mind down the road (which I surely would've done). Since my rear barrels won't be done 'til weeks end, I figured I may as well go for it now while the wheels are off the car.

Inspiration pics attached for my last minute audible today.. That said, I'm beginning to see coilovers in my future - but I'd rather not if I can help it. Right now I'm on Tein H-Techs.

probably wont have a chance to do the rear spray delete to install the rear spoiler until saturday. but test fitted it and seems to fit fine. Decided not to paint though since its flexible and scared paint would crack during installation.

I also got a prius bonnet mask in the mail, but they sent me the wrong one. they were pretty quick in replying and told me they are sending a replacement. hope the correct one comes soon.

and reason Im getting it is because I didnt get a clear 3M bra when I got the prius like I should have. So I have a lot of scratches from road debris. And something @SwamppThingg and I discovered is... when the WGM paint chips like mine, its white underneath. And when his Blizzard Pearl chips, its black underneath... TOYOTA WHY?

@el Crucero Hey bud! The local guy I go to here in Nircal charges about the same ($70-85 per wheel). I believe there is an extra charge to retorque all the wheel bolts, so I'll do that myself. Hope this helps!

Definitely playing with fire here.. there's gonna be a slight 'poke' with the new setup (like the pics above), but I'll have to see once it goes on officially. I did have a VERY similar setup prior, and I based my rebarreling specs off my original setup which was a square 18x8 +48 all around with 1.5" lips.

In the fronts I ran 5mm spacers putting me at +43 and had 20mm spacers in the rear putting me at +28. With this particular setup I had a similar 'poke' effect with ZERO rub in the front and back running 215/40's.

New specs will have me similar aesthetically w/o spacers at 18x8.5 +42 front with a 2" lip and 18x9 +36 rear with a 2.5" lip. Granted, I'm on Tein H-Tech springs, so I'm far from slammed which helps my case. That said, I'm gonna experiment with my tire sizes to see how much I can get away with (i.e. 225/40 vs 215/40). If need be, I'll roll fenders to free up some room.

For giggles, here's a pic from last week of the rears sporting 18x10 +24 with a 3.5" lip. Definitely needed to hone it in an inch to say the least!! :ROFLMAO: - With the 18x9's in the rear, I should be good to go. :cautious:
