I've had VW's since 2001. I had a Jetta TD wagon I from 2003 until 2013. I then bought a 2013 Sportwagon. But I feel like I've just been screwed over with this emissions crap. I thought I was buying a clean, good for the environment, vehicle. Just last night I decided, I'm done. This evening I drove to the Toyota dealer, traded in my Jetta Sportwagon TDI on a v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon). Good Lord, the v is huge! My dogs are going to love it!!! The only thing that has me wondering it how it will do in a cold, mountainous climate. I'm sure it will be fine. Joe Fisher
You will do fine. You will notice a bit less torque compared to diesel going uphill. Just search for cold climate tips for Prius. There are lots of easy improvements you can implement. Enjoy your new Prius m

You can ween yourself to Eco Mode driving via the Power and Normal Modes if you wish. I was amazed how much fun it has become to drive efficiently, but it is not for everybody.
My dogs love it also! Seamus (the one in my profile picture) is quite tall. This is the first car that I've ever had in which he can sit up w/out stooping!
