Thinking about trading in my '10 (140 trouble-free miles) for a '15, which I'm hoping will be discounted as the new '16's are pending. Two questions for the experts, please:

    1) What are the features or technology on the '15 has that my '10 does not?

    2) Compared to the 2015 Two, a 2015 Three has the navigation feature. Is it user friendly, and worth it? Any other differences between the 2015 Two and Three?

Well, I guess that is actually four questions, but any opinions offered are appreciated.
    Thanks!

As you may know, the minor update was in 2012 so that's carried over to 2015. Here's the list from that thread above:

    2012
    Changes:
    - New Sea Glass Pearl. Nautical Blue replaces Blue Ribbon and Sandy Beach is discontinued
    - New front bumper
    - New taillights
    - LED DRLs with On/Off Feature
    - LED parking lights on Five model
    - Automatic headlights on Four and Five models
    - SofTex synthetic leather replaces leather on Four and Five
    - New Dark Charcoal two-tone interior
    - POWER button is now blue
    - HUD available on Four and Five
    - New available JBL GreenEdge audio system
    - Display Audio w/ 6.1" touchscreen standard
    - Vehicle Information w/ Customizable Settings
    - Bluetooth Handsfree and Music Streaming
    - USB port w/ iPod Connectivity and Control
    - Plasmacluster deleted from Four and Five models
    - Water-Repellent Front Door Glass deleted from Four and Five models
    - Available 10-way power driver's seat
    - Advanced Parking Guidance System discontinued
    - New 15" alloys w/ wheelcover design
    - Updated LED lowbeam lighting
    - Updated MID w/ 3D effect and climate control readout
    - Improved sound insulation
    - Revised suspension tuning
    - Updated 5" Multi-Information Display w/ Eco Savings Record
    - Vehicle Proximity Notification System
    - Headlight cover no longer tinted blue
    - Blue accented Hybrid Synergy Drive emblems

Basically, it's quieter, may ride a bit different (I don't think I noticed it), slightly different colour scheme (the dark grey is actually dark) and some updates to the 5" MID (better graphics and new menus) and a new 6.1" MFD. You also gain LED DRLs.

The 6.1" Display Audio w/ Nav is ok. It's has some nice features and is reasonably quick (it's flash-based) but I don't know if people are too happy with it. You do get Entune too but you lose the JBL audio system from your 2010 (have to get a 2015 Four to get optional JBL GreenEdge audio). You will gain bluetooth stream audio and USB input and backup camera on the Three.

OH, and there's an attached Excel spreadsheet with 2010-2015 information. I found it too clunky and the post was too long for 6 years' worth of information so I entered it into Excel with tabs at the bottom for different years. That's why the main post only goes to 2013.

I have a 2013 Four. Love the car but hate the nav system. The routing is just plain bad. It often goes miles out of the way on roads that we know well (and not because of traffic. At one spot the display always says to take a certain turn but the voice never does, but later tells you to turn back. And of course the map update cost is crazy high. I carry a Garmin (with lifetime map updates) for longer trips on roads I don't know. It may have gotten better by 2015 but I haven't heard that it did. I would get a Four again though, for the more adjustable drivers seat and faux leather.

I second that on the NAV. Put aftermarket in my 2010 II because Prius Nav sucked then. Bought a 2015 Four for my Son...and it still sucks. A $100 Garmin or your cell does a better job without question.

Wife's driving a '15, I'm driving a '10. Second the above comments on Nav, Toyota sets the industry standard for Nav, worse Nav implementation in the industry.
Don't like the Entune on the '15. makes simple things like going back to map after a phone call a 3 button exercise when on my '10 I just push the "map" button.
They did clean up a few things on the '15 that just drive me nuts on the '10, up and down for volume on the steering wheel controls is actually up and down now instead of left (down) or right (up). Seat heater buttons are now left for the left seat and right for the right seat instead of top for the left seat and bottom for the right seat.
